Does anyone really believe the article currently on Yahoo News that students in public schools test ?
Come on—-What are they trying to pass off as scholarly studies now? Of course this study was only done on 1000 low income students, but lets be real, do they really expect us to think that a kid sitting in a low student to teacher ratio privalte school setting can’t do better than a student sitting in an inter-city school.
I would bet if some research was done on this Center for Education Policy you would find out they’re just a front organization for the NEA.
Nolle——the article didn’t say anything about how the low income kids ended up in private school. I would like to think that their parents busted their ***** to be able to get their kids in those schools—-and if they did, they would bust their kids ***** to make sure they did well. However, just thought of another way they could have gotten in private schools. A lot of religious based schools have scholarship funds for members of their church that can’t afford tuition to their school.
