September 21st, 2009 Posted by: admin
I am in a Political Science class and need to know some information on Gridlock. I read a book titled Pennsylvania Avenue. We are going to discuss how the Authors’ theme of gridlock is brought to life. Can someone, i guess, explain that to me…

Do you think churches who endorse candidate and engage in politics should lose thier tax exempt status?
August 19th, 2009 Posted by: admin
Churches are a place of worship, not a place for politics. If they want a say in the political realm then maybe they should pay taxes like every other group has to.

Do you feel more or less interested in this election than in others?
July 15th, 2009 Posted by: admin
I’ve noticed more politics being discussed in homes and offices this election than others. Will this one be historic because it’s a turn of the century election and the dynamics have changed or is it just politics as usual and my imagination?

Do you come to the YA Politics section so you can feel intellectually superior?
July 6th, 2009 Posted by: admin
Because if you do, I want you to know that’s pathetic. The dumbest most ignorant people in the world hang out here and it doesn’t make you look any smarter to be hanging out with us.

Why does everyone get so flaming mad when politics are discussed? Are we really that closed minded?
May 22nd, 2009 Posted by: admin
It just seems that no matter who we support, Republican or Democrat, we can never seem to have a decent conversation with the opposing party. Any Ideas why? I was just wondering.

I’m 31 - but from the Q&A I see here, I feel like I’m one of the oldest. How old is everyone else here?
14.7 years - wow. Do you have a link for that?

I wish to persue a career in politics. How do I go about doing so?
January 10th, 2009 Posted by: admin
I am 15 and have taken the most advanced history classes available to me.
I want to take a polysci class but my school, nor do surrounding schools offer one.
I am extremely conservative and a capitalist Republican.
What would be some good steps for me to take before i get into college?
What would be a good major for me to consider in college?
How would I need to start my career and what can I be doing now to participate in that?

Since this is politics, will the Palin supporters have to toughen up when she gets attacked?
November 23rd, 2008 Posted by: admin
Since Obama supporters will have to “grow thicker skin and broader shoulders” as some say, will the Palin people have to do the same?
