blog/writing community?

so i like to blog.
and it seems like noone i know, like on myspace or facebook care about anything i have to say. i want a place were i can blog and i can get alot of traffic/imput/comments.
does anyone know a place like this?
ive tried myspace,facebook,opendairy, live journal.
none of them really work for me.
any suggestions…

My boss is looking for an alternative in web-hosting to Bellsouth. We are currently paying over $1000 / MO. (although this DOES include listing on their sites). Please give examples of not only web hosting- but also how to drive traffic TO our site (like we are told is being done for us now). Thanks in advance!!

There’s too many blogging sites to choose from….
No CommentsBlogger gets the most traffic by far (according to Alexa) but that’s not everything.
Is there any specific one you’d reccomend?
(And please don’t say MySpace or Facebook…. As far as I know, only some people on your friendslist read those, unless you’re famous. People would find it odd if you read their blog and commented if you didn’t know them….)

What should I call my blog?

I need a good name for my blog. Blogs are easy to create but it’s difficult to attract people to them. I want to create a blog that provieds creative ideas for attracting visitors. I need some suggestions for the domain name I should use. Here are some good examples (already taken):

I want to include one of these prefixes in the name:
